Welcoming Touches
These are the small, thoughtful touches that greet you as you approach the front door.

The original front door, with original hardware, is described in the 1/25/31 Arizona Republic article, "The mahogany front door is of massive construction with many panels and raised mold."

What wasn't described in the Arizona Republic article heralding the construction of this home is the hinged panel that opens inward, serving the purpose of today's homes' fisheye peepholes.

One of the delights of buying an older home is having your own mailbox... not a community mail distribution center that has made life more convenient for our postal workers. Better still is the mail slot, which deposits your mail into the security of your home.
